Welcome To Your Birth Journey

Why a Doula

Bringing a new life into the world is one of the most profound experiences a person can have. It’s a journey filled with anticipation, excitement, and, yes, sometimes a bit of uncertainty. That’s where a doula comes in.

A doula is more than just a birth coach or a helping hand—think of us as your unwavering source of comfort, strength, and peace of mind during this transformative time. Our role is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support tailored to your unique needs. Whether it’s your first baby or your sixth, every pregnancy and birth is different, and having someone by your side who truly listens and cares can make all the difference.

The Benefits of Hiring a Doula

  1. Personalized Support
As your doula, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. From preparing for labor to creating a birth plan that aligns with your wishes, my focus is on your comfort and well-being.

  2. Advocacy for Your Wishes
Birth can feel overwhelming, especially in medical settings. I’m here to ensure your voice is heard and respected. I’ll help you navigate decisions so that you can feel empowered and confident in your choices.

  3. Emotional and Physical Comfort
Labor can be intense, but you don’t have to face it alone. I provide hands-on support, whether that’s through calming techniques, gentle massage, or simply being a reassuring presence.

  4. Peace of Mind
Knowing someone is fully dedicated to supporting you can ease the stress of the unknown. I’m here to help you feel grounded and prepared for whatever comes your way.

    Why I Do This Work

I became a doula because I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported during this sacred time. Birth is as much about strength and love as it is about bringing a baby into the world. It’s about honoring the journey, your body, and your choices.

If you’re looking for someone to stand by your side, cheer you on, and help you feel at ease, I’d be honored to be part of your story. Together, we can create a birth experience that feels safe, supported, and uniquely yours.

About Me

Hi, I'm Naomi! I live in the charming town of Kettle Falls, Washington, a place that's been my home since 2001. It’s a quiet little corner of the world, but it’s where I met my wonderful husband, and together we've built a beautiful life. We’ve been married for 20 years and are blessed with 5 amazing children who keep our hearts and home full.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep desire to support and empower others—especially women and families. Becoming a doula has been a dream of mine for years, and I’m so excited to finally be living it. I feel incredibly privileged to be able to serve my community here in Stevens County, providing support to families during such a special time in their lives.

Being a doula isn't just a job for me—it’s a passion. My goal is to help every family feel supported, informed, and cared for during their pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Whether you're planning a birth at home, in a hospital, or somewhere else, I’m here to help guide you with compassion, knowledge, and experience.

I’m truly honored to be able to do this work in a place I love, and I can’t wait to help you through your journey, too.
